Our Mission
The Las Vegas Associated General Contractors (AGC) is the voice of the commercial, industrial, heavy/highway and underground construction industry. Our association provides service to the construction industry, to construction users and to the public. Our members and association exemplify skill, integrity and professional responsibility. We accomplish our service and education purposes through collective strength.

What is the AGC?
Established in 1918, AGC of America is a full service construction association with 100 Chapters and 33,000 firms including 8,000 General Contractors plus 25,000 industry associates, including subcontractors, specialty contractors, suppliers, equipment manufacturers and professional firms. AGC delivers a full range of quality services to its members including government relations, market promotion, education and training, jobsite services, industry relations, legal services, environmental programs, information and technology services, human relations and standardized forms and documents AGC represents and serves the needs of all general contractors including:

  • Building Contractors
  • Heavy-Industrial Contractors
  • Highway Contractors
  • Municipal-Utility Contractors
  • International Contractors

AGC of America's leadership includes four officers, all of whom are contractor members, each holding their respective office for one year; an Executive Committee with representation from all four classifications of construction; and a Board of Directors.

The association has more than 50 committees, served by more than 1,200 members, which recommend AGC policy. AGC has one of the largest construction industry political action committees contributing over $6,000,000 since its inception.

AGC PAC seeks to elect members of Congress that will be responsive to the needs of the industry Your interests are represented by a team of lobbyists working exclusively on legislative matters that affect construction.
